I started off in woodworking. My first chisels were a mix of sizes and makers, old and beat up, but high quality. The first thing I had to do was grind them all down to get a good edge. It’s tedious but necessary, and since then I’ve done it countless times. I had that in mind when I made this buckle. It’s cast in bronze, hollow ground twice to create the facets.
The belt is top quality Sedgwick leather, hand cut and sewn with burnished edges.
